Zaanse Schans, North Holland🇳🇱

For our second day in Netherlands, after breakfast and checking out in the hotel…

We went to Zaanse Schans.

Zaanse Schans is a neighbourhood of Zaandam, near Zaandijk in the Netherlands.

Zaanse Schans is simply a town full of extraordinarily well-preserved architecture and traditions.

It is full of wooden houses, windmills, barns and workshops.

Be sure not to miss the cheese factory!👌🏻
Have a taste on different kinds of cheese and then you can buy it.

Then they also sell foods with cheese in the corner like nachos, sandwiches, snacks and more.

There is also a Zaanse Schans Museum.
But we didn't go inside so I don't know what to see in there but I think it's all about what you can see around the area.

Here are some of the places around it, with its windmills, museums, nature and culture where you can experience the industrial history of Netherlands. (with my mom as the model👍🏻😄)

They also have some pretty gardens around it💕

Also I love the houses with black paints, and other scenery in there.

To travel with my mom around Europe is one of my bucketlist and I am happy that we are doing it little by little👌🏻❤️

Also they have photographers roaming around and taking pictures of you then you can buy them if you want and it will be with a calendar in it.

Amsterdam🇳🇱

Amsterdam is the capital of Netherlands.

It was a great trip, specially the day we arrived there, there was a festival – Amsterdam Gay Pride is a yearly local LGBT parade of boats in Amsterdam's canals, held on the first Saturday in August.

After the ride on the boat, next was the hop on hop off bus. It was 28 euro if you want to ride both, the bus and the boat. The ticket is also good for 24 hours👍🏻

Amsterdam is known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age.

Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk.

Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.

Because there was a festival the day we arrived, the people was all around and it was fun because there is also a party🎉💃🏻

Anne Frank House is a writer's house and biographical museum dedicated to Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank.

The building is located on a canal called the Prinsengracht, close to the Westerkerk, in central Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

And the foods😍 Because not all can be found in Italy, and I miss these foods I feel happy that I got to taste it again👌🏻

KFC ⤵️

Starbucks⤵️

Macarons⤵️
Because I love macarons I just need to try it here in Amsterdam👌🏻

Also in Italy there is no Forever 21, and because I love that store, I also go there in Amsterdam👍🏻☺️

After strolling in the city of Amsterdam, we went to Volendam.

Volendam is a Dutch town on the Markermeer Lake, northeast of Amsterdam.

It’s known for its colorful wooden houses and the old fishing boats in its harbor, which is lined with seafood vendors.

After that we went to our hotel, we stay there for a night and it was worth it, it was a nice hotel👌🏻

College Gaduation❤️🎓 (UE – Manila)

BOTANA, KRISTEL MARIEBachelor of Science in Accounting Technology

University of the East – Manila

Class of 2017

🎓❤️🎓❤️🎓❤️

I didn’t know anything about it at first I thought you will just study again for another 4 or 5 years(depends on the course) just like in high school but it is not just that, you will learn to value everything in the process because when you don’t give your very best in it you can’t finish it ’till the last sem. All the struggles were real.. passed, failed, repeat, sleepless nights, summer class, stress, pressure and all of it, but it will ALL BE WORTH IT!!!
I did failed many times in some of my subjects, there was a time that I don’t want to continue it because of the pressure and a lot of stress but I think again and tell myself its just a year away to be able to graduate so why not continue it, continue it not just for me but also for my mom to be proud of me and my relatives! I’ve always stuck in my mind that after I graduated from college I will be the first one in our family who will graduate in college, I want them to know that I’m different and I can do things that they say I can’t. It’s not just that I want to prove it to them but also for them to be proud of me somehow.

Because I know, and I admit that I am a happy go lucky person but when I am serious in one thing I do all my best in it, I know that all of this will be for me, for the future, I understand them for being so pushy to study well and now that I finished studying in college, next step will be just the real starting point of life – working👍🏻
But the real struggle is when I was left behind, all of my batchmates had graduated, I stopped one sem because I had to fix something in Roma, where I was born. I could have catch up to them if I don’t have back subjects but sadly I have so I need to do it na on my own. I did summer classes so that I can really graduate this year. I was like new again this time because I don’t know much people in the next batch, so I just focus more in studying(kasi wala ng kokopyahan hahahaha✌🏻) but that last sem was great and I was thankful to the people whom I got along with, laugh with and share moments with even in a short period of time😊😊
I want to thank GOD for guiding me everyday of my travel from our home to school in Manila, they say that studying in Manila is unsafe but I was so thankful and blessed that all through out that 5 years of studying in Manila commuting everyday (including going home late because my subjects are up to 7:30 or 9) I haven’t experience anything bad along the way.

Also for giving me enough strength and knowledge everyday🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
Second is my MAMA for the unconditional love and support for me. Although I was so “pasaway” and “matigas ang ulo” she was still there to guide me and love me, because she is my mother. I really appreciate all the things you’ve done for me mama for me to finish studying up to college, specially you’re a single parent🙌🏻😘❤️

Mama thank you for all of it! I love you so much mama always!❤️😘😘😘

THIS IS FOR YOU MAMA!🎓🎓🎓
All my friends and classmates who supported me all the way!❤️❤️❤️

My friends that are always there and understands me well. Whenever I had a problem they will always be there to listen and gives me advice👯❤️

And my cousins, even though with them not everything is serious but when it comes to supporting each other I know I can rely on them so much👌🏻❤️

All my professors, I’ve learn so much from them and not only with the subjects they are teaching but also with the life lessons they always include for us to realize everything and pursue to really finish studying!🙌🏻👩🏻‍🏫👨🏻‍🏫
I may not have any honors and medals, but to just graduate in college is a big thing now, not everyone will be given a chance to study until the very last sem. You just need to really focus well in studying so you won’t fail and continue achieving your dreams.

Go confidently in the directions of your dreams and live the life you have imagine✨

Congratulations graduates of class 2017🎓❤️🎉

A cheers to welcome new year with the family!💛💛💛

Keeping it simple for the new year.

2016 has been a both good and bad year for me. Bad because I just realized that some things are really not meant to stay forever. But still thankful for everything that happened because it teaches me that there’s a lot to see in life.

To love myself first before anything else.

Thankful for all the people who is always there for me no matter what happened.

Thankful to God for always guiding me and giving me strength in everything that I do in life.

So whatever challenge in life this 2017, I will be ready for it. 🙏🏻👩🏻‍🎓✈️💼❤️

Christmas 2016

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, where everyone is busy preparing for it.

It’s the birth of our Lord and we should be all thankful for that.

The past years I remember we used to do the noche buena but when my grandma died, we didn’t do noche buena anymore. But it’s fine, I got used to it. The whole day of Christmas day, 25th, we go to church, eat together, exchange gifts together.

Christmas for me is about family. Celebrating it with your family and going to church together, giving gifts to each other and eating together with your family.

As for our family since my grandma died, after church we always go to the cemetery to pay a visit to our beloved grandma.

It is not always that you’re with your family so it feels so good when there’s get together/reunion.

⤴️This was our lunch for that day.

⤴️Gift giving time.

⤴️Twinning with my cousin.

⤴️Picture taking with the cousins. That last picture they were trying not to smile, but it looks like they will blast out in laugh any minute😂✌🏻

Twenteen💜

Yesterday I celebrated my 20th birthday. And honestly I don’t feel like I was really 20 years old..it feels like yesterday I was 18 and having my debut, now no more teen on my age.

But being an adult has many things to consider. Many things to learn. Accepting many things you will know more about yourself. And I know there will still be fun, sad, stress, excitement, etc., in every thing that you will do with your life.

So yesterday I just want to celebrate my birthday in a simple way. My family and friends with me having a simple birthday party.

But my friends love surprises so they did surprise me…

In our squad we love surprising each other with smashing fresh eggs in the head of the celebrant and this is what they’ve done to me🙈

So after that I had a hard time washing it off😅

Then we eat after that. And because I know the surprises of my squad I’m prepared and have changed into another ootd 🙂

~with my lil’ cousins

~with my cousins again

~with my loving aunt and cousins

 ~with my friends

After eating we stayed in my room and just chill play uno cards.

Then we play beerpong after. It’s boys vs. girls.

It was really a fun day being with your family and friends on your birthday❤️

So that’s all I want to share about my 20th birthday.

I’ll be posting next my outfits yesterday.

Everyday Kath Book Launch

Last Sunday my bestfriends and I went to our idol’s book launch.

It was in eastwood mall and we were already there at around 7 in the morning as I remember while the start of book signing is 3 in the afternoon.

Although we waited so long and be under the heat of the sun, it was so worth it because we got a chance to have out book signed, have a chance to hold her hand and have a picture with her.

It was not our first time to fangirl like this because we’ve been doing this since 2011, we were there with our idol from the start up to what she is now here in the Philippines. (Teen Queen of the Philippines) But we’ve become so busy with our school stuffs that’s why we don’t have much time to go to her events. Until we had time last Sunday❤️

Even if we are fangirling we still want to look fashionably just like our idol — Kathryn Chandria Bernardo.
